And guns! I am a very good twitch player, but I will be damned if I can figure out CIV5. I have now run 5 empires, each has failed in some way. Either the people are not happy (my first attempt), not enough money (second attempt), another race got rifles and cannons way before me (third attempt), everyone turned against me (fourth attempt) and I am now on my fifth attempt and once again, I am fighting two civs at once who surround me and want my rich fertile penis.

I'm trying to find a mod I used to have on Warband. It was a huge mod that made it A LOT more realistic. I just can't seem to find it.

A few hints are:
- Armor was a lifesaver
- Horses w/ armor could survive much longer
- Shields wouldn't break from simple hits, needed to be a mace or something for it to snap.
- Had several nations. French, Irish, Enlish, Scottish, Roman Empire, etc.
- When u start the English are basically surrounding the Irish.

Anyone know?

do uk wut the mod is :O? I thought it was 1257 AD but the gameplay is so different from what I remember.

I found it. There are two 1257's, I had the wrong one
